Requirements
What VULK automates for store publishing, what you set up once on Apple and Google, and the store guidelines your app follows.
Requirements
VULK automates the entire mechanical pipeline: building, signing, packaging, metadata, upload and submission. This page is the checklist of what you prepare once on Apple's and Google's side, and the store guidelines your app follows.
What you set up once
| Apple | ||
|---|---|---|
| Paid developer account | $99 / year | $25 one-time |
| Identity / legal entity | D-U-N-S for Organization | Identity verification; D-U-N-S for Organization |
| Legal agreements | Program License + Paid Apps (Account Holder, on the web) | Developer Distribution Agreement |
| Create the API credential | App Store Connect API key | GCP service account + grant in Play Console |
| App declarations | Age rating, App Privacy (your attestation) | Data Safety, content rating, target audience |
| New-account testing step | — | New personal accounts: 12 testers × 14 days before production |
VULK pre-fills the declarations it can (for example a Data Safety CSV you import), and you confirm them as the app's owner — they are legal statements made in your name.
App review
Both stores run human App Review. VULK delivers your app to the review queue correctly built, signed, and with metadata, and Apple's and Google's reviewers approve the release. Review takes from a day to several days.
Store guidelines your app follows
- Apple Guideline 4.2 (minimum functionality) — the app delivers real app-like functionality and value.
- Apple Guideline 4.2.6 — apps from an app-generation service are submitted by the content owner (you), on your own account. VULK is built this way: you are the submitter, and VULK is your tooling.
- Google Play minimum functionality and repetitive content — each app is a distinct, useful app of its own.
VULK adds native capabilities (offline assets, push notifications, haptics, sharing, deep links) when it packages your app. Make it your own distinct app with genuine native value — offline use, notifications, device features, real navigation — and it is ready for review. TestFlight and Google's internal track run ahead of public App Review, which makes them the place to test first.
Infrastructure facts
- iOS builds run on macOS (Apple requirement). VULK operates macOS build infrastructure, so iOS publishing runs as a managed pipeline with nothing to install on your side.
- Fresh tokens on every run. Apple API tokens last up to 20 minutes; VULK mints fresh ones per pipeline run. Publishing uses your active key and membership — after revoking a key, connect a new one to continue.
- Rate limits are per-key. Because VULK uses your key, your limits are yours alone, separate from every other user.
What VULK guarantees
- Your credentials are encrypted at rest and never leave the pipeline.
- VULK never publishes under its own or a shared account on your behalf — always your account, your key, you as developer of record.
- You can revoke access from your side at any time, independently of VULK.
